Daycare Programs

Our program is flexible and open-ended. Toddlers need to be challenged without being frustrated or overwhelmed. We at LCCC continue to explore the world through the following ways:

• Move our bodies through the creativeness of dance and musical instruments.
• Release energy by visiting the gym often, playing on the playground right outside of our Toddler rooms, and going for walks.
• Develop our vocabulary through story time, learning our alphabet, free-play and much more.
• Establish routines by eating all of our meals and snacks together during set times, specifying naps times and setting a schedule each day for our activities.

At LCCC, we believe that children within this age group learn and succeed by playing and watching their older friends. 

This often leads to children being curious and exploring potty training at a younger age. Although your child might not be ready until they are closer to three, we still encourage them by being in constant communication and explaining how your body feels. Our teachers want to work as a team with you to conquer all of the amazing milestones your child will experience in these short 18 months!

Our Pre-K classroom utilizes the Creative Curriculum that promotes the following for our students:

• social/emotional
• physical
• cognitive
• language development 

Our curriculum is aligned with Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards. In Pre-K we foster a healthy and safe environment for young children to learn and flourish through play, build friendships, and learn to love school! We work each day to ensure that your child is on track for kindergarten by building each child a portfolio for parents to see their progression. 

We at LCCC want your child to feel confident enough to enter kindergarten!
