I have always had a passion for enriching the lives of children through education and I have 15 plus years of experience working in various childcare settings. After graduating from BGSU I spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps in Immokalee, Florida. While there I spent my time serving the children of the community through work with the Guadalupe Center and the Immokalee Foundation. When my year of service came to an end, I spent the majority of the next several years continuing my work with children, and in February of 2020 I became a teacher in the preschool room at LCCC. In my free time I love to read and be outside with my wife and our dog.

I have been at LCCC since 2020, with experience ranging from infants to school-age. Being able to connect with so many kids over the years has been amazing. My goal as assistant director is to be able to support the children, families, and staff of LCCC to the fullest extent! I lived in Lakewood for 19 years, so I am thrilled to continue to be a part of the community. I love being out in nature and to make art (especially painting) in my free time!

I started my childcare journey back in 2007, when I joined the Westshore Early Child Care Program at Lakewood High School. I was provided training with infants-school agers. In 2011, I began my career at LCCC, mainly working with the School Age Program. After stepping away from the field to pursue other endeavors, my heart brought me back to the only job that ever felt truly fulfilling. Since 2023, I have proudly taken position as the Director of our School Age Program at Lincoln Elementary school. I absolutely love getting to work with the various grades throughout the year and going on so many fun adventures with our Summer Camp Program. When not working with the kids, I love spending time in nature.

I live in Lakewood with my husband and son. I have my Child Development Associate for infants and toddlers. I have worked at LCCC for over 15 years. All of which have been in the infant room. I enjoy teaching because I find it rewarding to be a part of children's innocence is so inspiring. Everyday is filled with new experiences.

I live in Brook Park with my family, and I have an amazing daughter named Adriana. We enjoy outdoor activities, all sorts of crafting, playing games, and visiting fun places together. I have worked in Early Childhood Education since 1995, which began at LCCC taking care of Infants and Toddlers. I have earned my CDA twice, most recently in 2019, and continue my education through Professional Development and In-service training, and hands-on experiences.

My absolute favorite job is being a mom, so it’s important to me that I bring that same level of nurturing and support to my students! I am trained as certified child life specialist and worked in pediatric hospitals for a decade before transitioning to the childcare setting. I love the spirited nature of the classroom, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to care for & serve the children and families in my neighborhood. My husband and I are huge Cleveland baseball & football fans; outside of attending sporting events all season long, we love doing anything & everything outdoors with our son and dogs!

I am thrilled to be part of the LCCC family. I live in Lakewood and am a graduate from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for every student to grow and learn in all domains. I love getting to know each child that comes into my classroom and my goal is to foster a lifelong love for learning.

I live in Avon Lake with my son and husband. I enjoy spending time with my family and anything that has to do with Target! I have worked at LCCC for 20 years, and have experience with all ages. My mission as a Pre-K teacher is to spend quality time with each child, developing close bonds; assess each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth to achieve their best learning outcome. I have my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
